Table-Top Role-Playing Games (TTRPGs) are hugely beneficial for children and offer them a wealth of enriching experiences. They teach a vast array of skills - literary, mathematical and social - in a fun and engaging session. 

Studies have shown that the highly social and collaborative nature of the popular fantasy role-playing game cultivates a range of social-emotional skills, which can lay the foundation for improved learning.

Vocabulary and description, imagination and storytelling are all interwoven into a magical and rich experience that can engage the mind like no other game. It also includes the usage of dice-rolls, quick calculation skills, percentiles, probabilty and fractions. Players of TTRPGs need to communicate, listen and work as a team to overcome the obstacles of their quests and  make decisions that could have huge consequences for their party!

Used as an intervention to support speech and language or social, emotional and behavioural needs, it can give the children a fun and engaging opportunity to make strong and lasting progress.

We can offer sessions throughout the day and after school for children to take part.
